Which is the best 3D modelling software for Aeronautics?

I want to design parts for Jet Fighters. Please could you suggest me, which 3D modelling software would be best suited for it?

There are thousands of parts in a Jet Fighter.
I think you may want to narrow down your focus a bit. Will you be designing control surfaces? Electronics? Hardware? Fasteners? Propulsion? Hydraulics? Weapons? Air frame?

There are a lot of software packages suited to this. If you're asking what most T1 aeronautics companies use, you'll find a mix of NX and Catia for the most part. One company local to me happens to use both under the same roof... though I'm still not quite sure why other than legacy reasons. Just sounds like a system management nightmare to me but I digress...

CAD is just a tool. Some managers will care more about the tool knowledge than the design knowledge. Personally, I find the latter of much more value but I won't deny the fact that knowing one of the big 2 is a plus for getting a foot in the door.
