Why are the arc lines being shown in the render?
I assume the way I drew it created this? I drew the lamp rod first, then in the front plane I drew the arcs (circles) and extruded. This is the only way I know how to draw two different radii. I am more familiar with AutoCAD than SW. I actually drew it in AC first to get my arc length because I cannot measure the radii lengths.
I don't know if it means anything but this lamp is already created and I am using Autodesk Design Review. I am measuring as much as I can and trying to recreate this lamp. I have been watching some youtube videos trying to freshen up on SW. If you people can recommend some other videos that would be great, or maybe even an online course.
Realistically I will not be drawing stuff like this. My employer just wants to see how much I can do with SW. I would ultimately be working with sheet metal. Creating cabinets for batteries and other electrical components. Most hardware can be downloaded from McMaster so I don't even need to create that stuff. Let me know your suggestions please as I have the time to learn/teach myself. Thank you for any help.
