Responsible to interpret technical drawings & electric schematics for Volvo and Honda wire harnesses. Designed a novel Inspection module using Pro-E/Creo Parametric 3.0 to evaluate Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances of wire harness battery terminals. Assisted technical associates in testing of wire harness crimps using Electric Resistance Welding(ERW) and troubleshoot product design & process anomalies. Designed 2 novel conveyor system mechanisms using Pro-E/Creo Parametric 3.0 to support process improvements & enhance conveyor efficiency by 40%. Ensured parts being delivered by equipment suppliers met requirements according to Engineering Order instructions in Part Inspection stage. Worked with Process Engineering Team to developed Process Flow Charts in job shops for numerous processes including Raw Material Procurement, Part Inspection, Material Control & Final Quality Inspection to implement process improvements & enhance process flow. Took initiatives to establish 5S Lean manufacturing principles through process evaluations on Volvo Wire Harness line; standardize component inventory by developing & maintenance of product description (model, group), maintain clean work environment & enhance labor efficiency. Tracked material enclosure quality & readiness for engineering builds using Activity Chart Sheets, FIFO labels & Tolerance Charts.
