Using my creativity is my passion, creating highly-detailed models is my pleasure. If there is anything I truly love doing, it is design -- getting to use my creativity whether I'm using 3D-Modeling software, or generating an idea on paper. I take a definite pride in all the work that I do. I further love to present my creations in any way I can, but I prefer making the presentation as awesome/cool as possible. With this, if I make a model, I'm more than likely to try and make a video/animation to go with it. Design History: I've always been interested in design and innovation. Once I realized how to spell engineer in middle-school, my artwork became much more mechanically inspired. I started my engineering-design with Hand-Drafting in high-school, followed by old 2-Dimensional AutoCAD. Shortly following AutoCAD, I was taught on Autodesk Inventor. While still in high-school, I expanded my modeling skills by learning how to use Autodesk Revit Architecture and Lightwave 3D, but I did not become proficient with them. I also learned how to program (line by line) a CNC machine and a robotic arm do to sequences of functions. It wasn't until college when I was taught to use SolidWorks, and how to run FEA simulations in it as well as ANSYS. I also learned how to use some of the tools Rhino provides (to think of where I would be without _MeshToNURB), but 3DS Max still remains a mystery to me. I haven't used MasterCAM extensively, but I have used Catalyst (Dimension's 3D-Printing software). I've also looked into Pepakura, but I wish I had the patience to sit around cutting things out of paper... I've also become fairly skilled with presentation media, such as Acrobat 3D, or in using video editing software. Even with all the skills I've accumulated over the years, I consistently wish to challenge myself further, and learn more than what I already know when it comes to design. • Created SolidWorks models for CNC Machining. • Converted old drawings into 3D Solid Models. • Modified old drawings when necessary. • Wrote modeling tutorials & guides. • Taught others how to properly model parts within SolidWorks. • Took it upon myself to model something new each day until I had finished a complete Pump Skid. • Learned how to emulate physics in electrical wiring and pneumatic tubing for motion simulations.

Finished with a minor in Electrical & Computer Engineering as well as a minor in Mathematics. In my time at college, I created a 3D-Modeling club, as there was not one previously on campus. I also took part on the university's Solar Powered Electric Vehicle team as the mechanical team lead. During college, I would also find time to mentor my high-school's FIRST Robotics team each year; I plan to continue the tradition now that I'm in my post-grad, and hope to bring the following generations of engineers the same enjoyment I had when it comes to design.
