biography

Graduated high school in 1990. Joined the US Navy August 2nd 1990 thru August 1st 1994. I then attended Bates Technical College in 1995 using my GI-Bill and started working for The Sheet Metal Union Local 66 in March of 1996. From there I worked on a lot of building projects. Such as The Mariners Staduim downtown Seattle. I was there July 28th 1998 when the last piece of iron work was placed. The Mariners catered a lunch party for all of us workers that day and spent some time hitting balls in the stadium. In 2000 I elected to change career paths and trying out many different options. One of those options was to further my education and attend college in 2004. I went for a AAS in Business but due to conflicts I had to fall short of completing that degree and go back to work. I spent some time working at a T-Shirt making place called The Shirt House in Aberdeen WA. That job ended and in 2007 I returned to the Sheet Metal Union Local 66 and finally completed my apprenticeship in 2010. I suffered a back injury while working on the Great Wolf Lodge project and the injury has put my career onto a new path. Through the injury I have again re-entered college and last September 2013 I completed a 2 year degree in Engineering Graphics Design with and emphasis in Mechanical. And as of September 23rd 2013 I have been employed by Architectural Designs Inc. to custom design light fixtures and the job is going fantastically. I will have my own office after training by the head engineer there and soon to also take his place.
