  1. Step 1: First Planes & Skecthes...

This exercises, as always, requires several new planes & sketches.

    Pleas, remember our conventions:

    Ok, Let's begin!!

  2. Step 2: Guide Curves for Surfacing...

  3. Step 3: Improved Method por Guides...

We are going to create a surface that is oriented as the natural flow (isoparms?) of the surface that we are going to create...

  4. Step 4: Why surface Edges as guides?...

Please, see the quality of the surface.

  5. Step 5: Splitting for Lateral all along Groove...

  6. Step 6: Swept & Cut with Surface...

Main purpose: Create a surface to cut the solid body of the bottle...

  7. Step 7: Variable Radius...

Variable radius can get a very pleasant transition from one end to another...

  8. Step 8: Splitting & Mirroring...

Main purpose: Work hard on one side only, cut in half, and them mirror.

    Half of the effort!

  9. Step 9: Splitting the Groove's Zone...

Well, here we start a laborious thing. If you have a clear idea on how to, ther is no problem. But if not... just a nightmare!!

  10. Step 10: Sk 4 Split: In detail!...

Here all the details on how to draw this ONE sk.

Main purpode: Create a regular zig zag continuos line to split the face of interest.

  11. Step 11: Splitting & Grooving...

  12. Step 12: Hard Work! & Filleting Grooves...

Yes!. a lot of cutting... but that's life!.

  13. Step 13: Working the Bottom & Top...

Sometimes the extrude cut may give you some trouble, just tweek the angle a little bit.

For the top of the bottle: keep in mind that the neck will be displaced to the left, so we are going to center it on the best spot possible with the cons. line circle technique...

  14. Step 14: Cutting the Shoulder...

This is a very tricky step indeed: If the surface does not cut the shoulder properly, just adjust the spline a little bit. Same if the 4mm filleting does not work.

  15. Step 15: Neck Finish thread an all!...

Oh yes!. This is a standard procedure (for me at least) you will find this step on most of my bottles...So, I made it all in one page!.

  16. Step 16: Shelling & Finishing!!...

And we are in the last (and tricky) step...

Ok fellows, Hope to be of help and that we learned some SW!.
