Regarding seperation of drawing from .prt file

Hi Nitin,
To do this you need to work according to the master model method. What you do is you create the ABC.prt file you save it and then you create a new file, this new file will be dwg.prt.
-
Step 1:
Create a new file
-
Step 2:
Make your 3D model and when finished save the model. Do not close this model. You will need it to create the dwg.prt file
-
Step 3:
Again create a new file only this time choose Drawings. Choose the paper format that you want. Because your 3D model is still open you will see that the name automatically apears in the name box "ABC_dwg1.prt". In the pictures it's "ABC_dwg2.prt" this is because I was creating a second dwg.prt file. The first one is always dwg1.prt.
-
Step 4:
Insert you 3D model in to your drawing. Now your dwg.prt file is linked with the .prt file. When you modified the .prt file the dwg.prt will automatically synchronise with the .prt file.
