How to FDM Print for Part Sliding Clearance

13 3 Intermediate
If you are 3D printing parts that have to fit/slide together after printing, you will need to put some sort of clearance between those parts in your CAD system. A good starting place is a clearance 2x the layer height you are going to print at, but you should make a few smaller test prints at different clearances to see if the 2x layer height rule holds for your particular situation and orientation. Have fun and happy printing!

DIY Laser Engraver

9 3 Beginner
The DIY Laser Engraver is a simple tutorial, that shows you how to build your own fully operational Laser engraver. It's an Arduino Uno based model, that can learn you many things about electronics and mechanical engineering. Through the Laser you can engrave wood and some plastics. Be careful and use eye-protection, it is dangerous to use lasers.

How to Make Chain Sprocket Animation in Solidworks

9 1 Intermediate
In this tutorial we'll learn how to model a chain sprocket animation in Solidworks. The tutorial contains parts modeling (inner link, outer link, sprocket), assembly and animation. Rendering is done in Keyshot. I have made chain using chain pattern. It is a basic exercise for beginners and it will be a good practice for beginners. Here, we'll learn these commands and features: 1) Basic 2D Commands 2) Extruded Boss 3) Reference Plane 4) Plane Mate 5) Belt Mate 6) Coincident Mate 7) Concentric Mate 8) Chain Pattern 9) Animation #chain_sprocket #mechanical_engineering #CADable Chain Sprocket Files: https://grabcad.com/library/chain-spr... How to design a Blow Mould of a bottle in Solidworks with animation and rendering #blow_moulding

4 0 Beginner
This is the basic tutorial of how to design a blow mould of a bottle. I have divided the tutorial in five parts. In this tutorial we'll learn these features: 1) Bottle Modeling 2) Mould Design 3) Mould Assembly 4) Mould Animation 5) Realistic Rendering First part of the tutorial consists of 3d modeling of a bottle, where we first create a sketch and then use revolved boss command for bottle modeling. Here we'll use some commands like fillet and shell. Later we apply appearance on it and render it. Second part consists of mould designing of the bottle. Here we are using Combine tool to do so. Moulds can be designed in many ways for example core, indent, combine etc. After making molds, we'll create a cavity on the top of the mould for flow of material providing a draft of 3 degrees. In Mould making, we'll use features like extruded boss, mirror, combine, move, save body. It is a useful tool for saving bodies (solid bodies) separately. Third part of the tutorial consists of Assembly of the mould. Here we use some basic mates coincident and concentric. After completing the assembly part, next we'll create animation of blow mould. We'll first explode the assembly and then set time for the animation. Last part consists of rendering of the assembly. We'll apply appearance to the assembly separately and then render it. Rendering usually takes time depending upon the speed of your machine so please be patient while rendering. Please Subscribe our Channel for more Videos and Projects in Solidworks. 3 0 Beginner
After a lot of request from my subscribers and friends, finally I have decided to make tutorials with voice over. This is the first tutorial with voice narration. I hope you like it. In this tutorial, we'll learn how to create rack and pinion animation in Solidworks using some very simple commands. It is a basic exercise for beginners and it will be a good practice for beginners. Here, we'll learn these commands and features: 1) Basic 2D commands 2) Assembly 3) Tool Box 3) Coincident Mate 4) Concentric Mate 5) Rack & Pinion Mate 7) Color 8) Motion Study Kindly use play pause technique for practice. I have attached files in the description for practice. Feel free to ask your queries in comment section. I will try to answer each and every question Insha Allah. Export Motion Study from SOLIDWORKS with Keyshot Plug-in

2 0 Intermediate
After a lot of request from my subscribers and friends, finally I have decided to make tutorials with voice over. . I hope you like it. In this tutorial, we'll learn how to transfer a motion study of SOLIDWORKS with Keyshot add-in. This tutorial will help many engineers, designers to create beautiful rendered animations. First of all, I have shown the assembly of adjustable wrench which I have already done in SOLIDWORKS. This assembly consists of four parts. 1) Fixed Jaw 2) Movable Jaw 3) Worm Screw 4) Pin I have attached their files for practice. Then we move towards motion study section. Here, I have shown animation of adjustable wrench in SOLIDWORKS. We use Keyshot plug-in and we have linked our file to Keyshot. It will pick this animation. Just go to SOLIDWORKS motion study, go to Keyshot add-in, a window will pop up, click yes to export entire animation. After exporting your animation in Keyshot, adjust the wrench assembly. Do some basic settings and go to animation tab. We have selected 12 FPS and 128 samples per frame. Click render and save the animation. Kindly use play pause technique for practice. I have attached files in the description for practice. Feel free to ask your queries in comment section. I will try to answer each and every question Insha Allah. Keep practicing as practice makes a man perfect. #solidworkskeyshot #plugin #cadable Assembly Files: https://grabcad.com/library/adjustabl...
