I designed and built this railing for the garage I had built a couple years ago (which I also designed, and I'll probably upload the full model one of these days). This railing is along the stair well on the second floor of the garage.

The framing is 1" square tubing and the decorative panels are laser cut 10 ga. steel sheets. I don't know what to call the pattern, but I think I was inspired by an oriental design (which I can't find now).

My dad, brother and I welded it together. I can't remember exactly what it all cost (it's been a couple years), but since I bought material through my employer it was pretty reasonable. Maybe $300 all together.
