Analysis error after STL to CATPart conversion .
I have converted a stl to catpart.
But during analysis in catia I get this error.
"Part body of Part 1 is empty or external view is not defined on studied surface."
How can I resolve this issue?

I've seen mixed results from Catia importing mesh data, usually the issue lies with the data not being manifold (i.e. 'water-tight') or consisting of issues such as overlaps, intersections and similar. I am not an expert with Catia, so I can't help with that aspect, but I recommend that you take a look at the correctness of the STL file using other applications and make sure that it a closed solid (manifold/watertight) and ideally that you are importing individual parts, one at a time. There are a number of free applications (or with free trial) available on the web that allow you to check the file for issues and if necessary make adjustments.
