Block and Pin

Hey guys, not sure if links are frowned upon here or not but:

I've been working on this for the last couple hours, and genuinely cannot even get started on either of them. The main goal of this is to create an assembly with the block and pin (hence the name).

I'm just starting to get comfortable with SolidWorks and would like if I was given a good starting point and not a full description.
