Can I preform Stress Analasys in Solid Edge ST4 student version?
I tried to do a tutorial named "Introduction to Simulation", it asks to open a new study under simulation tab, which i don't have, that raised the question is FEA allowed in the student version. In the picture it can be seen that everything related to FEA is disabled in the current product state, does it mean that FEA can't be done with the student version or is just disabled at the moment and somehow can be enabled?

Unfortunately, the student version does not allow you to open the Simulation tab.

Carlos Melo about 1 year agoAndres, I believe the Solid Edge Simulation package is not included in the free Student Edition. It is included in the University Edition. You can register in www.solidedge.com to receive a 45 day trial of SE and you'll get access to all the SE modules, including simulation.

Thanks, I eventually found it out myself, but it was really hard to get to that conclusion :D (nowhere and noone wanted to talk or answer to this subject at the time)

Also I was confused at first (that led to this) about the product state, I had never used Solid Edge and I saw that it said Simulation in this product state not allowed, so i tought that the Syncro,...,... or whatever the 3 different option Solid Edge has to operate the program were the product states :D
