Creating a knuckle thread in Autodesk Inventor 2023
following DIN EN 148-1, I'm trying to model female threads on a component; Inventor's inbuilt thread library wants to model the threads in a conventional manner, which is a problem for me since I intend on 3D printing this model, and need the threads to be accurate when printed.
Can anyone point me to the steps I'd need to follow to accomplish this task?

you can use the sweeping function with the use of a coil as path.
there has been a program for real thread modeling in inventor, but as far as I know this program is not longer available. Basically it was just working as described above
This is one of the Inventor models I had laying around that I used to use when teaching thread forms. It is a single part but includes both internal and external thread solids.
It should be 3D printable with some editing of the parameters for the proper thread size. I attached the Inventor part file as well as a STP export.
