how can i assign a pic to a surface in keyshot?

i have designed a LCD and i just want to have a picture on that LCD to show that the LCD is on and is working how can i do that?

You right-click on the surface and click Unlink material at first. Then you double-click on the same surface again and you click on tha label tab next to the texture and properties tab and you add your picture.:)

There's no problem if you don't unlink material. i thought that it would put he picture into the whole body but if it doesn't, just skip that step.

Alireza you must prepare your picture by photoshop before importing it on keyshot!

yeah Alireza... just prepare your picture in photoshop first, then add your model on keyshot kai take the steps i told you above. that should be it.

i found this tutorial really useful, if this is what you're after.

also I'd recommend always using .png images with transparency (so no visible border). you can make these in photoshop, and keyshot will import them.

Thx Andreas for ur help.but when i assign the pic on the surface it scratch the pic and i can see the pic very clear.i did some work with its setting but it didnt get better.do u have any way to solve it?

but we should import a 3d model in keyshot not a picture, am i right?

ok ok i got it but what u mean by prepare ur picture? if u prepare ur pic so u dont need any render.so .....
