How to do a plastic part in solidworks 2012
I want to do a plastic part in solidworks and I am confused about where I should start over. I have few inputs, if anyone can guide me about the starting it I would be greatful.

Create your part as per normal. You can change what the part is made of at any stage.
Right hand click the traffic light looking symbol under annotations in your part tree. Click edit material and from there you can go to the plastic option in the tree provided and select the exact plastic you want to use.
