How to turn sky on in AutoCAD 2011?

My button to enable sky is always disabled. Anyone knows how to enable it?

step 1: LIGHTINGUNITS command
step 2: value=2
step 3: sunproperties; sky properties

Hi,
I would appreciate some explanation why button "type" is locked in my model.
Please see below.
I have tried several commands but did not succeeded.
