I have a question regarding copying files in CATIA from one computer system to another computer system. I always asked to use the desk option in CATIA when i copy an assembly from my colleague's computer system. And the actual problem is due to the models which are missing when i open the main assembly and i am repeatedly doing the searching work using the desk option. What is the best solution for this? What is the best way to package the entire assembly?

Hello Tamiz,
There are two reason when you are not able to find the file or Assembly showes you ,missing component.

1. Files are saved in different location so in this situation so you are not able to save whole assembly, to overcome this situation you should use the "save management option"
Please follow theses steps( from step1 to step 3) then you will not find error or missing parts.

Step 1:-
Select save management openyion and click on it.

Step2;-
It will ask, which assembly you want to Save as that assembly, make sure you are selecting the mother assembly(final assembly), which you want to take and then save as the path where ever you want to save it.

Step3;-
Then Propogate the assembly then select ok.

second is visulization issue, which is not applicable for this case.
.
I hope It will work fine.

If you still finding error, Sent me the snapshot of error on my mail address. Which I have mentioned below.
