Making Renderings

I have SolidWorks student edition that does not have PhotoView 360 and have only been able to figure out how to make simple renderings using eDrawings. I am a Student and was looking for a free rendering program. Does anyone have any ideas on where I should start to learn the rendering process? any direction for what software or tutorials to look for would be greatly appreciated.

all student EDs have PV360, you just need to enable it from the add-in list.

student edition comes with SolidWorks Premium...able to do all the renderings, simulaton, motion study, and many more......

Try going add-in and make sure there is a check next to PV360...

you can always go to luxology and download a 30 day trial. Then buy the student version of the rendering program, which is fairly cheap.

Thanks everyone. I found PV360 and am attempting my first rendering. Now I guess we will see how my computer handles it.

Blender.org, Use save as .stp file format. Its a free 3d animation software great for renderings plus its free.
