Thousands of tutorials to learn from
I have downloaded a few impressive models, but they are unconstrained and would take forever to do it myself, is there something I am doing wrong?
I am using Inventor 2012 btw
It sounds as if you have DL the STEP file for that model?
STEP files does not keep the constraints when open in other software... Try DL the IV version if that is an option?
Totally agree with William (Nice Profile Pic By the way!)
Also, I would sugest to keep everything grounded and create only constrains that are necessary...
For example if you want to create a drive constraint....
Otherwise I cannot see why to rebuilt the whole assembly if every part is already in the right position
Yes I ground the lot, then work backwards,
thanks for your help
What are these certificate files btw?
I'm pleased to share knowledge around designing.
Maybe tomorrow you will be the one who will answer a Q.
-You mean the .STL files!
(.STL stands for STereoLithography)
is the format that you have to upload in order to check on gabcad & the "3d View Beta" a model without to download it.
BUT!!!
Apart from that is the file you import in a 3d printer!
Working through that you can have a quick prototype.
I found this it looks Intersting
