Solidworks 2020 - Anyone solved exporting shiny metallic parts as gltf for use in Powerpoint365 ? Chrome Metal displays as White ?.

Hi there ...
if you have office 365 ... maybe you could insert the attached file and tell me if the model insets metallic or white as in my attached images.

I created this Orion Crew Module in Solidworks 2019... but I have also want to give 3d models that can be used with Office365 ... As I have a need for my work anyways.

I used Polished Chrome for the outer shell of the model (see pix) and using XRExporter in SW2020 saved in Gltf format (which has the options to save materials etc). Then used an online GRB converter to consolidate the files.

The issue I have hit is … that at work on the PC with Nvidia Quattro graphics , inserting the model into PowerPoint (in either format).. It's great, shiny metallic. But at home on 5 yr old gaming PC (Nvidia 970GTX) ... the texture is gloss white ?? Also on the brand new Lenovo college laptop also white ? (Radeon built in) ?

Not sure if the graphics card is the issue or maybe a graphics card configuration / software thing?
Maybe it’s just the GPU is not powerful enough in PowerPoint ... dunno ? I put the latest nvidia drivers on.

If I load the model into say Microsoft’s "3D Builder" ... It definitely looks metallic, bit weird but clearly metallic ?

I'm was thinking ... maybe there is a link between what material I have used and one that powerpoint can interpret ?

I also found that trying to using a dark grey texture in SW .. came out green in Powerpoint, but black works fine ? ... like there is a limit to the colours Powerpoint can convert ?

Or is it the Nvidia /PowerPoint settings that need tweaking to show metallic materials ? As I say it shows in 3D builder, in Paint 3d ... sort of but some textures missing ?? Weird ???

Maybe an different microsoft friendly 3D model editor that selects the existing material and converts it to one powerpoint recognises. 3D builder just replaces the entire part in one color, including the flag and black areas i set.

Hope someone has some idea ? ... I've attached images and one of the models below ...

Many thanks to the community :-D
