Solidworks fails to wrap arc onto cylindrical face

I'm trying to create a curve by wrapping an arc (see Open Sketch.JPG) from one edge of a half-cylinder face to the other.
When I attempt to create the wrap feature, the preview shows exactly what I want, but when I attempt to confirm, Solidworks throws the error "The wrap feature cannot be created from intersecting or open contours." (see Open Wrap Failure.JPG)
I attempted to fix the issue by closing the contour. (see Closed Sketch.JPG)
Again, the preview shows exactly what I want. (see Closed Wrap Preview.JPG)
But the wrap feature ignores the arc and only wraps the straight line. (see Closed Wrap Result.JPG)
Anyone know how I can make this work?

Accepted answer

I found a hacky workaround for the issue. I'm still not entirely sure what Solidworks' problem was, but I discovered while adjusting the dimensions that it didn't like wrapping the arc all the way to the edge of the face, so I created a new full cylinder surface to wrap the closed profile version of the sketch onto.

It seems to work in SW2020, but who knows how my model and sketches differ from yours? Uploading your model may allow better insight.

Wrap is usually a rarely used command in SW. What are you trying to do/make? There might be a better method. As you have the Scribe option enabled, a Split Line (under the Curves menu) may give the same result.
