by default there is engineering reference module in solid edge.create an assembly file and look for engineer reference were you can input data not only for gears but also sprockets,cam,pulley, shafts,beams, springs etc. with standards.you even get the calculated results.The models are generate in the assembly with the values which you provide
I have the student version of soildedge I can't use ER, can ER be installed on my version?
