What is remastering related to CATIA v5?

What is remastering related to CATIA v5? Can any one explain me with an example step by step procedure.

The projects or files that we get from v4 that we import to v5 will be dump and non parametric creating a tree in a parametric way is called remastring

We can develop solids and surfaces from neutral files imported into catia. With remastering the developed solids and surfaces can be fully parametric.Isolating the relations from the orginal dump solid makes the sketch parametric and further with help of features of part and GSD we generate solids.

remastering is also known as DUMP TO PARAMETRIC CONVERSION in which imported dead body model (.step or .iges ) is reconstruct with new specification tree.
