What would be the easiest way to import a FE mesh as a 3D wire mesh structure in a CAD package (Solidworks or others) ?

I would like to convert a tetrahedron FE mesh into a wireframe structure in a CAD format (not a closed 3D model but a set of connected lines in 3D). This in order to generate a lattice structure for 3D printing. Any idea? Does any software do that?
Importing nodes would lead to a mess trying to connect them properly.

You could import the stl file into Catia then create planes and take sections?
