GrabCAD Phone Booth

Once again we need your help to make our new office look nice and modern. We are looking forward to your designs for our custom made phone booth. The winning designer will be awarded and the phone booth will be called by author's name.

We do not want to set any limitations for the shape or looks of the phone booth. The approach you should take is that the phone booth should be made in a way that it could be easily assembled.

The more simple it is, the better, preferably made of easily available materials and profiles like glass, wood, plywood, mdf etc. Anything that needs expensive treatment or handling should be avoided as our budget is limited.

The phone booth should accommodate one person and be soundproof.

All artistic design elements like match of colors, pictures, graffitis, etc are more than welcome. The color scheme of our other furniture is blackish grey, white, black, GrabCAD red.

The attached pictures should give a general idea of the interior.

Also it would be nice if the phone booth will have similar features to our meeting room but it is definitely not mandatory.

Requirements

Dimensions where the meeting room should fit are 1200x1600x1800mm. See also the picture with the dimensions
Accommodate 1 person
Fit a small table and chair inside
Walls need to be sound proof
Phone Booth could have similar features to gcoffice but it is not mandatory
Phone Booth will go at the top of the stairs
Should have something to minimize echo inside

Winning design will be chosen based on the design and functionality
The competition is open to everyone
Team entries are welcome
You can submit several designs
Only models uploaded to GrabCAD library will participate in the competition
Only models uploaded through this challenge page will participate in the competition
Tag your model with “gcphonebooth” to make it easier to find
Privately uploaded models will be made public after the competition deadline
Models can be done in any CAD software as long as a STEP or IGES files are also uploaded
Photo realistic image of the concept is required
Competition winner will be announced in GrabCAD’s blog

1st prize: First place will be rewarded with nice surprise from the GrabCAD Team
2nd prize: GrabCAD T-Shirt
3rd prize: GrabCAD T-Shirt
4th prize: GrabCAD T-Shirt
5th prize: GrabCAD T-Shirt
6th prize: GrabCAD T-Shirt

These are the steps to the Phone Booth :) There is not going to be phone inside as we use Skype from our laptop. A small table would be nice.

1800mm is the total height? Ouch, I hope not to work at grabcad, I cannot enter in the phone booth...lol (my height is 1930mm)

Can we use the stair as a part of the phone booth?

same for me, im 1860mm high. so i wouldnt fit into the booth, maybe if i can put a chair or something inside it so i can sit down inside. :)

Alright, well I am getting pretty upset. I have worked on this design for a while and grabCAD is not allowing me to properly upload the model for this competition. I assume it's b/c I am not at 100%, but whatever I do, it will not get me up to 100%. Not happy. I'd still be happy if I got some feedback from the community for my first (attempted) competition entry. Thanks.

The deadline for the challenge has already past, and then it has passed noone can put up any more contributions to the challenge.

And regarding those 100% in your profile, it got nothing to do with that at all. To upload a model to the challenge you just press the upload model button that is present at every challenge page, then you follow the instructions.
