How do you create this curved edge flange in SolidWorks?
Hello all,
I decided to do some more sheet metal practice on my own using the information I gathered from watching some YT videos. But I haven't seen someone perform something like the below picture. I was thinking of using an edge flange then a jog or a 90 edge flange then sketch bends, but my concern is getting the tip of the flange to touch on the bottom plate like in the picture.
Any ideas? If you want to see the solidworks file, please let me know.

You could do it with multiple features as you've mentioned, or you could sketch the profile all at once and use the 'swept flange' feature. The only problem you'll have is trying to make the tip of the flange touch the bottom plate, that will fail in Solidworks. You'll need to leave some gap, even if it's only .00001"
