I've been looking for the naca number of Boeing 787 (dreamliner) from any authentic source. This is required for my undergrad thesis project. Can anyone tell me where to find this? Or, is this still a company secret?
I'm sure they are going to be holding on to this pretty tight, but most likely it has several different values from root to tip. Maybe even up to 8
just a thought.
the dreamliner is the one airplane of Boeing which has capability of taking of directly in the vertical direction, and that means its wing design is a bit different from others so I don't thank Boeing has even revealed that on aerofoiltools.com, (the web where we look for NACA aerofoils).
Boeing does not use NACA airfoils. The develop their own and don't let them out.
