Hello,
I think it would be helpful to discuss potential sources for blueprint research. I have found some sources through the following sites or places.
The Smithsonian institute for research (They will have physical copies available upon request for a reasonable fee)
Scribd.com ( a good cache of misc. documents and other technical manuals)
Various museums have physical prints depending on the item in question.
Post below what sources you have found!
Hello,
you may additionally try "science.gov"! Some of the documents (military, ammunition and weapons) and reports, which are "approved for public release" may contain blueprints of some parts or assembly groups.
For developers and designers in defence industry the "Engineering Design Hanbooks" of the series "AMCP-706-XXX" may be interesting as well!
With best regards
Andreas
