You can try with official CATIA V5 Automation student guide (EDU_CAT_EN_VBA_AF_V5R19).

I can recommend also VB Scripting For CATIA V5 by Nick Weisenberger

Search for the file V5Automation.chm in your CATIA folder.

It will teach you CATIA Automation.
