My middleweight concept. Idea is either my existing ebike motor set w/ 8"trolley wheels or my custom ampflow reducer set w/ 6" colson may fit. It's symmetrical so it's invertible and functional either top or belly up. Some conerns though;
-Is the body proportion just fine? I want it to gyrodance that's why I thought of making it wide and short.
-It's prone for the doing "the thing" on all sides

put drive motor in backside and I think body should not symmetric. when this engage with impact at that time load is not transfer to ground evenly.
I placed the drive motor in front side to make the center of mass a bit forward away from the wheel axis so it has no tendency to tilt upward while driving.
The symmetry I mention is along the plane of the axis of the wheel and weapon, so if you flip it over on either top or bottom, it can still work well. It's common to drum spinners like Minotaur and the likes.
Can you please explain more about the impact and load transfer? I'm a bit confused about it. Thanks.
A little alteration. The bot at the back is at 51kg with 8mm thick wheel guards, intended for standard middleweight category of 54kg.
The bot in front is at 44kg with 3mm thick wheel guards, intended for a 45kg event in Malaysia.
I prefer having wheel guards since I'm not a good driver yet. In my experience with my FW, having even thin wheel guards gave me fair enough protection because it took like 3-4 direct hits before it totally tore off instead of the wheels suffering from the start.

I uploaded the cad file of my MW design. Feel free to download for your reference. You can build it if you like.
