Designspark Mechanical

As a first topic to kick us off :-)

I use a Ultimaker original that I built as a kit and have had 5 years with upgrading it (with grateful thanks to the GrabCAD community) and have enjoyed the challenge so much I went out and bought another one second hand!!!

Mainly I make prototypes and some specialist tools that work well in the real world as well.

The DSM software is great for designing for this printer; but wondered which other printers make a great match and is there any to avoid?
