Dear all
I need an idea on how to draw the motion signal of a bipolar stepper motor of 18 degree step angle during 10 seconds, Actually I need to figure out how to draw the relationship between the number of revolutions of the stepper shaft with the length of the shaft?
Hopefully these equations will help you draw the required relationship: https://wiki.cnc.xyz/Stepper_Motor_Calculations.
Dear Ali
Thanks for your reply
I am really facing a problem with understanding these equations. Can you explain them to me please?.
Consider this type of stepper motor

I need to know how to draw the relationship of the angular displacement of the shaft in 10 sec.
There is a lead screw attached to the stepper motor, which has a pitch of 2mm. That means for one revolution of stepper motor, the lead screw advances by 2mm.
Step angle of motor is 18 degrees, that means the motor completes one revolution in 360/18=20 steps.
So when stepper motor takes 20 steps, the lead screw advances by 2mm, that means each step of motor translates to 0.1mm at lead screw.
Hope it helps.
Thank you very much Ali... I really appreciate that..

Farah
