Is everyone in the industry doing scantling right ? .
If so what is the actual procedure for scantling based on Standards like iso since it also gives the plate dimensions.
How to make the dimensions suit with our ship dimension, because it gets a lot of plates and lot of stiffeners, if we calculate according to iso .
Generally scantlings give the minimum of say thickness of plate, stiffener section properties and so forth. But what exactly are you looking for?
Yeah ofcourse I Know , But ISO has something for plate length and breadth also . I dont know Y they have plate length and breadth . I want some one who is familiar to ISO standards to answer this .
