How do you create the final stl part on various cad software's ?

well i use SW18 atm. I usually when done with assembly or part modeling, use save as command

Doesn't SW produces a very crude and badly faceted part ? I used that one and i didn't like the results.Or i just did it wrong ?

You can go in options when save and regulate tesselation quality.
