Siemens NX (Unigraphics) Users

in NX to direct open different types of cad format, 8 advised don't do this method way, cause issue the tools translator codec is not completed.

when you open directly the problems will missing paths, parts, features, surface blank etc.

i advise the file format use step, igs, sat. but important is the part file complex or not complex.

NX can directly open I prefer solid edge part file

What version of NX are you using, I am using 10 and those file formats are not on the import menu or file open menu. You might be able to purchase an optional import translator.

i using NX 12. I mostly import file to NX the type of format step, iges, x_t, x_b, dwg, dxf.

anyway I not purchase optional translator.

I have had the most success with parasolids and step files when it comes to importing solid, even large ones into NX.

I dont find any option to convert these files thats why I asked is there any possible way of converting those formats to STEP OR IGES or Other file formats IF I Do so will there be any missing parts?

In NX version they call import or export.

import file:

File Menu => Import column, what file you want import just select the column.

export file:

File Menu => Export column, select what file you want to export.
