Hi everyone, I have several years experience in Solidworks but I'm completely new to NX. Is there a way to loft between 2 bodies in the way you would in Solidworks?
Thanks
Yes, with a myriad of options along the way. NX has a number of tools for creating 'lofted' type shapes, "through curves" being one of them.
Through curve and Ruled (in case you have a cross section only without guide)
Through curve mesh , Swept , Sweep a long guide ( in case you have a cross section and guide)
a loft simply equal ruled in NX
A 'ruled' surface is linear in nature...
Brandon, the best way to cover the methods is for you to provide an example and explain the desired result. Since many of the more advanced options include end results of various continuity... the right tool is driven by the requirement.
Thanks for the help everyone. I tried the ruled command and it worked for me. Next time I will post pictures for more clarity.
