I need to design a jig for PCB, with required jig to be flexible due to different PCB size. My jig runs on the conveyor
Hi Minh,
All these models do you want assembly on your jig?
What more do you assembly in your PCB plates?
In the PCB plates exist some hole that we can use to fix the plate on the jig?
or only we can fix by format?
This process, I don't have much experience...
I need to understand better your process to define a correct concept.
Thanks.
With that kind of variety in geometry, you should make the fixtures on the conveyor a bread board. You could then 3d print inserts for each board type that would just bolt on. Unless the operations you are performing on them are not precise, you probably won't be able to make a suitable universal fixture.
If you could add a common hole pattern to the pcb designs, that would probably be the only way to do it. Then all the pcb's could rest on the same set of posts.
