Can Dassault Systemes 3ds software open .CATPART from CATIA V5

I am unable to open existing .CATPART extention files in my laptop, and I couldn't identify the problem.
ekindly give suggestions for the problem

1. have you installed CATIA?
2. what did the error message say?
