I am working on rendering and getting confused regarding the substance file i.e .sbsar file type.
A Substance is a file with the .SBSAR extension.
Substances can be used in the following products:
Unity 3d (3.4 and above)
Autodesk Maya 2012 and above
Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 and above
Autodesk Flame 2012 and above

If not how does it differ?
