can we make 2 or several position in drawing assembly with solid works such inventor?
in inventor we can make one assemble in several position work in drawing environment .

There is an 'Alternate Position' facility to show parts in different positions.
'Inset' menu, Drawing View, Alternate Position.
For this to work first you have to create multiple configurations of the assembly.( or part)...

Select the main configuration you need and draw in in solidworks. Then in the layout tab of command manager, select alternate position view, select existing configuration in option and use the drop down menu to select the required configuration. Then you will find the main confirmation drawing using solid lines and the other configuration overlapped using dotted lines.
If you want different view with different confirmation, click the drawing layout and in property manager select the required configuration.
