Can you upload an assembly with part gathered from here?
Hello, this would be my first upload, so before it, I'd like to know how this could be done. I have created a complete, fully working assembly with both custom parts I designed and parts I have gathered from here.
The parts I have grabbed from here are mainly components, for example:
- Yellow Dc Motor
- Infra-red avoidence sensor
But I have also created my own components that I have used. Since I do not have uploaded anything yet I will just mention them:
- Structure (made of like 10+ individual components I designed)
- Custom sensors
Also, I got my bolts from Solidworks toolbox, should I include them or not?
In the description section of the uploads, I would link all the components I have gathered from here to their respective owners, but I do not know if I should include the components in my .zip, or do not include them and only link them in the description.

Don’t provide an assembly with dead links. You need to include all required parts. Cite your sources. Especially those that are not from generic libraries. You should never make it appear that the models you acquired from others were authored by you. But definitely include everything.
People put models on here to share and for you to use. So use them. Just give them credit.
