Creating a 3D model within DraftSight

By Gary Hassler on 12 Nov 18:55 3 answers 27295 views 0 comments

I see that DraftSight does have some 3D capability. I have a simple drawing for a plastic bag dispenser I would like to turn into a 3D model in DraftSight if I can. Anyone know how? (drawing attached)

So they tell me that there is no such even though the tree has commands "shading" and "animated rendering". Still, if someone wants to make a 3D out of that which can open in DraftSight, be my guest. I'd love it.

Draftsight can work with 3D autocad files
    Named Views
Good for pulling in info for Solidworks Cut and Paste into sketches
