Curious about Software Terms

Hello everyone,

I've recently been testing out GrabCAD Workbench and I'm loving it. However a section of the terms of use was brought to my attention. I did some searching and couldn't really find anything. The part that concerns me is located under the following section: "7. CUSTOMER DATA AND STORAGE" at the following link: https://grabcad.com/software_terms

Here is the excerpt that concerns me.

"Customer hereby grants Stratasys and all Stratasys Affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully-paid, sublicensable (through multiple tiers of sublicensees), perpetual and irrevocable license to copy, reproduce, modify, alter, adapt, arrange, translate, create derivative works of, and otherwise use Customer Data to generally provide Customer with access to and use of the Software, to maintain the Software, to make Features available to Customer, to perform obligations under this Agreement, and to provide bug fixes, system diagnostics, error and performance monitoring, product offerings, Customer support, Updates, and to make improvements to the Software and to the Printer(s) (the "Customer Data License")."

Why does Stratasys and its affiliates need the ability to make copies, modify, create derivative works, etc. of my data / projects? Reading the link I posted above about a previous users concerns, the responses in that question would indicate that my data is my data, and no one elses.

I really hope I'm just not understanding, because as stated I'm loving this solution/software.
