well the answer should be "marketing" and "no1 really has a complete answer";) as some of the product share the some technology based on T-SPlines.
Even Autodesk is confused about their products... and if you see the videos on their website they share the same videos (white sport car) for the different products but not a real/clear explanation about the differences. Lets try to start anyway (my opinion) :
speedform is born for automotive on the paper and is more expensive (big company wont mind pay more as they have special price anyway) compare to fusion 360 but personally the integration of few more tools doesnt justify the price. it is MY OPINION. Fusion 360 was the first to come out and transform Tspline from a plug in to a stand alone program.
Probably they improve the overall product but not much evidence about it to justify the creation of another product with similar characteristics. In all above programs you can transform the Tspline into nurbs and than keep working on other programs;)
The alias surface version is more for automotive and create "good" or class A surface for the development and engineering - but depend which field you are working you can choose a products more suitable for you. In 99.999% of the case al surface must be rebuild in Catia or similar by people with experience if you need a class A- as said it you are working on the concept stage it is not your concern beside the missed skills. Thios doesnt mean that they are not useful, but this little jump from one prog to another when could be all integrate in one is silly. The autostudio is an integration of different programs from sketching to visualization a "bundle".
NOw:
I found all a bit confusing myself, and the fact that many ask this questions should worn autodesk but apparently they are willing to change names to progs and lunch other programs instead to developed few but good1 and complete.
Nowadays the engineer sector is changing (even the programs start to integrate freeform tools) but they still complex and difficult for design conseptualization, which should be stopped by constrains (at the beginning). To obtain a product (car or product) faster there is the possibilities to jump into the engineering part of the process even from a model done in 3d max, maya, modo or c4d. which are more easy to use and fast to create organic shapes and changes. In fact even if a car look nice and clean in Alias surface with the zebra -doent mean that it is ok as a class A surf., and if you dont have experience you wont understand even from the graph.
If you still confused welcome to the club;) but I hope I help you a bit.
