Free software for rendering

I'm looking for a free software for photo renderings of 3D cad models that is easy to use.
Someone that could help me?

I've not started using it, but Lagoa is a free rendering tool as well. Check it out here: http://home.lagoa.com/

Blender is free and very powerful but is not as easy as the other commercial packages.

SolidWorks is probably the program I use most, but unfortunately I don't have PhotoView 360.

I have used Blender a few times for some simple video animations, and I have tried it for photo renderings as well, but I feel that is to much work to get anything good out of it!
