Will applications like Solid Works 2012, Creo Elements - Pro Engineer Wildfire 6 , CATIA V5 , Autocad 2013/2010, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens Unigraphics, Fluen Gambit be compatible on Windows 8? Its highly important for me that these applications be compatible on Windows 8. Otherwise i would rather stick to Windows 7. Kindly someone let me know about this.

with anything new from Microsoft I would wait until the fixes and or updates have been done. Companys like that rush to get it out before all the issues have been reconized. you can check the individuel software Companys for there compatability.
well Solid Works, creo,auto cad are compatible on window 8. and don't know about gambit .?
