Ground nut oil Extractor
Hello, can anyone tell me working mechanism or action involved in extracting oil from ground nut. Also I have searched web but unable to get relevant result. It will be so helpful with working internal process.

These sort of machines use pressure to squeeze oil out of the nuts. Some machines use a screw to press nuts against an anvil. the screw being continuously fed from a hopper. Provision for the pressed nut waste has to be built into the end of the screw. Other machines press the nuts in a cylinder in a batch process. The design of any machine and the process method you would choose is dependent on the quantity of nuts you require to process and the size of your budget. A small, household use machine would be made less complex than a machine designed for commercial use. Having had a quick look on youtube, if you are looking at a commercial machine, there seems to be several manufactured in India. Taking this into consideration, designing commercial machine may not be a good project unless you can design a better / cheaper machine than the local suppliers. For a home use machine you would design and build a machine just for the fun and challenge of it.
This is your assignment you have to do the work yourself. To get you started I had a quick look on youtube and found these video clips with minimal effort

As I stated before a press is used to extract oil from many different nuts and seeds and also from olives. The two main methods, continuous process, using a screw, and a batch process with a ram. The last clip shows another continuous process that uses a roller and a cone.
If you want to be an engineer a bit of effort is required, have a look at these video clips, you now know oil is pressed out of the nuts, now think about what is needed to make these machines work, you might even come up with another mechanism that will press the oil from the ground nuts. You should have been able to get to this point of the process without my help.
