How can I make a video like this? Which software specifically for this?
I am a mechanical engineer. I like 3d design. There is a project involved in making a video to simulate the operation of the machine to present to the customer.
Here is a reference video but I do not know what software people use and how to do it.
Do you guys, who ever did or know about this, give me some advice?

I could recreate this video using SolidWorks and my video editing software - but I can't recreate the steam simulation and the cutting of the product.
What would you like to simulate / animate?
The referenced video is probably made in some animation software like Blender or Maya (Autodesk).
I'm a Blender user, so just to give you a hint, try to looks for "particle system" and phisics simulation on youtube to see how they have made the cutting scene.
