How do I solve for the "Rebuild Error: The Wrap feature cannot be created from intersecting or open contours" when engraving a text on a ring?
I am trying to enter an engraved text on a curved surface of the ring. I entered a text on the right plane of the ring. Then I went for the feature Wrap but I got the "Rebuild Error: The Wrap feature cannot be created from intersecting or open contours". Please see the attached screenshot to have more detailed info to figure out how to solve for the "Rebuild Error: The Wrap feature cannot be created from intersecting or open contours" when engraving a text on a ring like that.

Some letters in some fonts in SolidWorks have open contours...
You can trace it (manually or automatically), or use a "Text to DXF" software like this:
