3) Access the Library Function:

b. In the General tab, click on Document.
c. Under Linked Document Localization, click on the Other Folders option and add the directory of your library folder. This will allow CATIA to search for components from the specified folder.

4) Save as a Catalog (Optional):
a. If you want to create a catalog instead of just a folder-based library, go to File > Catalog Editor.
b. In the Catalog Editor, you can create a new catalog and add parts from your library folder.
c. Click on Add Family, name it, and start adding your parts. This method is useful for better organizing and searching for parts in larger projects.
